Senior Marketing Coordinator, ADWEEK

The role of Senior Marketing Coordinator for ADWEEK will partner directly with the Integrated Marketing team in support of both ad sales and event departments. Role will be responsible for establishing efficiency through organization, management and maintenance of a departmental workflow. Role is charged with the development of marketing materials including presentations, one-sheets and proposals. This position requires a passion for media and marketing, possessing the ability to time manage and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Marketing Coordinator must possess excellent communication and organization skills and reports to the head of Integrated Marketing.

•Track, manage and maintain departmental workflow spreadsheets, timelines, etc.
•Coordinate and assist in the development of marketing materials including presentations and sell-sheets among others
•Maximize efficiency and ensure the delivery of information and materials across all platforms (print, digital, event) to all departments (marketing, sales, events)
•Proofread and edit marketing materials to ensure ADWEEK message and voice consistency
•Translate information supplied by both internal and external client groups into effective action plans and material marketing needs

Desired Skills, Experience and Education:
•BA in Journalism, Communication or related degree
•3+ year experience in media/advertising, agency or editorial setting
•Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint a must
•Highly organized and deadline driven
•Exceptional attention to detail
•Demonstrated excellence in communication both verbal and written
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•High standards and proficiency for proofreading and copyediting
•Interest and fluency in media including an understanding of trends and competitive landscape
•Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment
•Interest and appreciation for being part of a growing team with a desire to over-achieve
