We are currently seeking a School & Library Marketing Manager join our Young Readers Marketing team. This position will be responsible for overseeing all library conferences, as well as planning author programming and the strategic promotion of titles during conferences. The Manager will also work closely with the Director of School & Library Marketing to present conference updates and represent the department during company meetings and to customers.

Other responsibilities include:
1.Developing and executing creative marketing plans for key titles, including overseeing advertising & promotion materials.
2.Overseeing the social media strategy for the library market.
3.Planning and managing the conference budget.
4.Supervising a department assistant.

•4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
•Minimum of 5 years prior experience in book publishing or related industry
•Ability to travel by plane, train, and/or car to 4-6 conferences per year
•Strong attention to detail
•Superb organizational skills
•Excellent written & verbal communication skills
•Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
•Understanding and awareness of social media platforms
•Interest and enthusiasm for children’s books strongly preferred
•Prior marketing and/or publicity experience a plus
