Executive Administrative Assistant
The Role:Bloomberg's Media Licensing & Distribution team is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support the general manager of the team and key leadership team members. The Executive Administrative Assistant will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks, and should be able to work independently with little or no supervision. The person in this role must be extremely well-organized and detail oriented. The ideal candidate will have a high energy level and effectively build relationships with team members, across other business areas, and with external partners at all levels. He or she will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial in this role.This individual must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, a strong decision-making ability, and superior attention to detail. Responsibilities will include keeping calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating and organizing high-level meetings, arranging for travel, database management, reporting, expense/budget management, ad hoc projects, and related office management duties.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree preferred- At least 5 years of recent and relevant administrative work experience- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word- Excellent communication and organization skills- Strong team player- Proficient with technology including mobile devices- Experience in media is strongly preferredThe Company:Bloomberg, the global business and financial information and news leader, gives influential decision makers a critical edge by connecting them to a dynamic network of information, people and ideas.
