Salary Description:

The Director of Digital Product Marketing serves a leadership role in building strategic marketing programs through deeper editorial integration, content partnerships and ad product development. This role will act as the sales liaison with editorial directors, product teams and audience development leads of each Meredith Digital property, and will have a direct line to tech resources that focus on building ad products. From conception to execution, the role will ensure the project is scoped properly, any incremental costs are accounted for, custom ad placements are delivered as proposed and any editorial integration needs are fulfilled. In the development of new business pitches, the Director will work closely with Sales and Marketing to represent the idea to the client, including participating in pitches and delivering marketing materials to bring the experience to life.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or experience.

10 years experience in publishing, media, digital strategy, client marketing or similar
Self-starting, hands-on marketing professional with minimum 8 years experience in digital marketing. Experience in or knowledge of "big brand" print media a plus. Minimum 3 years management and experience in sales training and presenting.
MinimumĀ 5 years of online editorial experience, including at leastĀ 2 years working closely with sales and marketing functions to create and execute sponsor programs
Proven track-record in program development through collaboration with several teams to drive projects from inception to successful delivery
Maximum proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel; familiarity with PhotoShop a plus.
Ability to understand and quickly apply new technologies (ie. Social, Mobile, Tablet, Apps)
Solid understanding of online community features and potential of community generated content.
Experience analyzing Web metrics.
