The Advertising Sales Director (m/f), you will operate as the interface for advertising agencies and brands. You will become an indispensable part of our newly Innovation Team by recruiting new advertisers in our core markets as well as manage and retain those relationships. Moreover, you will constantly have an eye on our competitors and achieve your key objectives by developing and applying program growth strategies based on your assessments. Depending on your enthusiasm, talent and skill-set, you will be given the opportunity to step by step take on more challenging responsibilities and professionally grow alongside the role. This role requires a pro-active and confident team player who can help clients/agencies get the most out of the company's Digital and services where appropriate. Leadership qualities need to be illustrated by providing digital expertise and a consultative approach to selling to brands and agencies.
Your Tasks
Prospect and engage agency contacts across all levels from Planner/Buyer up to Account Director levels and deliver
(sell) mobile advertising & sponsorship solutions to them in accordance with agreed targets
Assist with strategic advertising deals on the the company's product suite
Identify and build-up a global network of advertisers that want to acquire new potential mobile device users
(no matter if iOS, Android or Windows) and negotiate overall deals, terms and conditions with them
Foster already existing relations with our customers with a focus on optimization and account growth to become their sole point of contact for all kind of needs incl. troubleshooting
Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects business problems, and the effects of the problems
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
Proactively promote Jesta Digital advertising solutions at its best, both on the phone as well as on external meetings, fairs, industry events etc.
Continuous observation of market developments and advertisers’ needs, constant improvement of the acquisition
and business development process as well as permanent tracking and measurement of your successes by analyzing and evaluating crucial KPI’s

Bachelor’s degree required – ideally in business, economics, communications, or similar
Minimum 4 to 6 years of pertinent professional experience in a Digital Sales environment, preferably within an e-commerce/mobile company
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrate proven ability to manage teams effectively
Ability to possess strong communication (both verbal and written), and customer service skills, and exchange information with others clearly and concisely
Ability to respond to frequent pressure to meet deadlines when work speed and sustained accuracy are paramount
Required to maintain and achieve sales quotas
Strong knowledge and keen interest in mobile games and applications, especially good understanding of the mobile entertainment market
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Willing to travel, 25% as needed
Outgoing character with excellent communication and relationship building skills and a high customer orientation
Resilient and goal-oriented personality with “can-do” attitude who is very adept in negotiating with partners
Fluent in English, both orally and in written – German or any other European language is a plus
Passion for the entertainment field as well as for mobile and online media, technology, and social networking
