Us Weekly is looking for a Digital Sales Executive specializing in mobile to join its dynamic digital team. This position will work out of Wenner Media’s New York office and will be responsible for managing Us Weekly’s national mobile business portfolio. The ideal candidate will drive sales for Us Weekly’s mobile platforms on its WAP and iPhone/Android APPs totaling over 9 Million monthly unique users. The Digital/Mobile Account Executive will serve as an expert on mobile industry trends and be able to craft and develop creative solutions for clients. The sales executive will be responsible for executing a high volume of face to face sales calls a week, building relationships and creating awareness to key mobile advertising decision makers. This individual will also engage in all stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to developing customer rapport, onto closing business and servicing accounts.

Job Requirements:

•5 years of sales experience in digital media, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in the mobile platform
•Strong knowledge of the mobile market with deep relationships at senior levels of partner organizations
•Acumen, experience and a successful track record of selling integrated partnership programs beyond banner advertisements (past online agency media planning/buying experience preferred but not required)
•Candidate must be both written and verbally articulate, and detail oriented
•Clear communication skills internally as well as externally
•An energetic self-starter with solid presentation, creative and analytical skills
•A positive team presence and team collaborator
•A “get it done” mentality with the ability to multi task
•Proficient at Power Point, Excel, and Photoshop (preferred but not required)
