Rodale Trade Books is seeking an innovative, creative thinker to join its rapidly evolving marketing team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is able to juggle quickly-shifting priorities, and eager to jump in where needed. The Associate Marketing manager must be highly organized with strong attention to detail and an excellent communicator in both individual and group settings, as well as within and outside of the company.

Responsibilities include:
•Spearhead social media efforts for Rodale's trade books, including working with authors to expand their online presence via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, etc.
• Coordinate social media presence and outreach with Rodale News, Fitbie and Rodale magazine partners
•As part of the marketing team, help develop and implement online and offline marketing and promotional plans for 80+ titles per year
•Collaborate and communicate with publicity, editorial, and authors on development and execution of marketing campaigns; communicate plans and creative direction with editors and authors
•Write ad copy; coordinate ad design with creative team; route ads and secure approvals from authors, etc., as needed.
• Assist Senior Marketing Manager in digital ad campaigns for select titles and create online marketing campaigns for all titles
•Run point on select marketing campaigns
•Attend weekly staff and marketing meetings

•1-2 years of relevant book publishing, marketing, publicity, and/or brand management experience is preferred
