Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Support Marketing/Sales/Custom Content/Digital Data departments in maintenance of media kit and creation of sell sheets, proposals and customized presentations.
• Assist with the development, writing, and communication of marketing and sales plans, creative briefs, promotion/sponsor recaps, sales presentations
• Incorporate circulation, marketing, research, and competitive industry intelligence into supporting marketing strategy and sales efforts.
• Distill website and product analytics into relevant supporting information for sales staff, and for incorporation in sell sheets, proposals and customized presentations.
• Manage custom project timelines and ensure clear communication on deliverables and deadlines to clients and appropriate departments.
• Assist marketing team with writing and editing of promotional collateral, newsletters, direct marketing, social media and online content
• Coordinate all printed promotional material supplies for sales, marketing and editorial
• Support planning and execution of promotional and sponsorship activities for InvestmentNews events
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Ideal candidate must have:
• Bachelor degree in Marketing/Communications/Journalism
• Two to four years of marketing experience, preferably within the media/publishing field
• Familiarity and high-comfort level with Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of HTML creation and editing
• Excellent writing, editing, proof-reading and verbal communication skills
• Superior organizational skills
• Attention to detail is a must
• Creative problem solving skills, to think on his/her feet and offer solutions when faced with challenges
• Ability to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure and thrive in a very fast-paced working environment
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office
