About the Role:
HuffPost Partner Studio is an industry-leader when it comes to developing content-based marketing programs for brands that fit in seamlessly alongside editorial content. We turn the HuffPost’s proprietary content management system inside-out for brands to use and to reach their target consumers in a more intuitive, genuine way than through traditional online advertising.
The HuffPost Branded Content Editorial Fellow will play a key role in efforts aimed at creating and implementing industry-leading, revenue-driving branded content marketing platforms for our clients. The role falls within the Huffington Post Media Group’s operations team, working in conjunction with tech, marketing, sales, research and editorial teams.
About the Team:
The Huffington Post Operations team manages the day-to-day and long-term initiatives related to advertising inventory monetization and campaign operations, commercial publishing and native advertising products, audience and advertising research and analytics, and executive business metrics and reporting. This team reports to the CEO of The Huffington Post, and is tasked with driving critical business initiatives for revenue growth.

The Huffington Post pioneered brand publishing before the term “native advertising” became popular, HuffPost Partner Studio helps advertisers create highly differentiated concepts and content to engage with their audience and demonstrate the core values and mission of their brand.

· Work independently to identify emerging trends in social media, and collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales Development, and Advertising Technology to turn them into innovative new platforms for our brand and our advertisers, with the ultimate goal of driving revenue.
· Ensure that all new social media platforms fit into HuffPost’s sales strategy and assist with packaging and positioning the new products when needed to make them sales-ready
· Attend client sales calls to provide native advertising insights and recommendations, then work with sales reps to create strategic revenue-driving solutions based on client objectives
· Participate in kick-off meetings for clients running native advertising programs with HuffPost to asses program objectives, availability of assets, expectations, timelines and other tactical details
· Serve as daily point of contact for internal and external parties involved with producing HuffPost native advertising programs, managing components such as:
· Advise on client strategy and provide SEO expertise to optimize campaign results
· Produce custom elements such as slideshows, social modules, brand pages
· Assist with creating branded content and curating HuffPost editorial content
· Moderate branded content using set HuffPost guidelines
· Track success of native advertising programs, compile results and provide recommendations for future programs, with ultimate goal of program renewal and incremental revenue
· Bachelor’s degree
· Experience with social media, content distribution, and ability to identify trends and turn them into sales opportunities
· Experience with social media monitoring and analysis tools, as well as SEO
· Project management skills, with ability to move programs from concept to completion
· Strong interpersonal skills needed to move projects and communicate ideas in a busy organization as well as in client-facing consultative situations
· Desire to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
