Child's Play Communications, award-winning specialists in connecting companies with moms, seeks an Account Executive. The ideal candidate will have PR agency experience, strong writing skills and a proven track record in media relations. In addition, applicants should have experience managing multiple client projects and the ability to multitask effectively. Primary responsibilities will include: •Manage multiple projects for a variety of clients while executing day-to-day account activities•Serve as day-to-day client contact and provide strategic counsel to client on tactical manners•Implement media outreach securing placements in print, web and broadcast outlets•Write pitches, press releases, media outreach plans and various copy•Supervise junior staff and oversee media lists•Assist in the development of PR strategy, including budget and timelines•Coordinate with social media manager to oversee blogger, Facebook and Twitter activity Required: 2-3 years PR agency experience. This position will include ongoing media relations, including pitching to print, web and broadcast outlets. Experience in social media a plus.
