Programmatic Account Manager
Wenner Media is actively looking for a Programmatic Account Manager for our Automated Trading Platform. The candidate is responsible for administration of all the sales / operational aspects of Wenner Media’s programmatic selling. The ideal candidate will join the Wenner team with a deep advertiser / agency client roster covering the programmatic marketplace. This individual will be a motivated self-starter able to work on their own. The candidate will possess an analytical, data and campaign management ability, as well as an excellent account services skill set. A proven track record of building relationships with Agencies and Marketers is a must. One who can operate independently at a senior level to expand the number and scale of clients serviced within the program is preferred. The role will collaborate closely with the core premium sales group of each Wenner brand and the global Advertising Operations organization.Responsibilities•Maintain a deep understanding of client business goals and marketing objectives in the programmatic space Consult and advise staff on the development of new audience targeting campaigns•Present insights, updates, new opportunities and recommendations to clients and Wenner management•Lead the implementation of audience targeting campaigns on the programmatic buying exchange•Lead optimization, scale, performance improvement efforts for clients within the platform•Manage the platforms day to day calculating the best floors to encourage more bids from various advertisers•Manage the block list•Grow audience targeting budgets across current and create incremental opportunities for clients•Oversee relationships with new and existing media inventory, data, and technology platform partners•Provide Sales team with strategic points-of-view or deeper insights on client spend within the program•Keep abreast of current events, media and any industry trends that impact client business•Be the champion of the programmatic program with the premium digital sales organization•Develop complimentary RTB programs for the premium advertisers on the Wenner properties to grow budget share of clients overall media spend•Driving programmatic and premium opportunities for new categories of clients to Wenner Media and it’s propertiesEssential Qualifications•2 to 3 years of digital ad sales experience•Proven track record of building client relationships at digital media companies or exchanges•2-3 years of digital experience, with a minimum of one year in programmatic ad exchanges, DSPs, deep knowledge of digital display media and advertising landscape, including key technologies, business models, ad products and industry standard metrics•Strong technical/analytical aptitude•Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and manage multiple competing priorities•Able to relay information seamlessly to the Wenner executives•Quick learner who loves to pick up new tools for reporting and analysis•Intelligent, entrepreneurial type with strong technical acumen•HTML/Java or any other programming language experience a plusIf you are interested, please apply at http://careers.wennermedia.com/1048/job.EOE M/FIf you are interested, please apply at http://careers.wennermedia.com/1048/job.
