We are looking for a web-savvy, experienced team player to serve as the Web Manager at a major, ($300M+), Washington, DC nonprofit—the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation—which is seeking a cure for this rare, fatal disease. The CF Foundation is one of the most innovative, successful nonprofits of its type. The Web Manager will play a major role on a high-energy, fast-paced, dynamic 13-person communications team.

Web Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
•Serves as project manager for web-related projects, including third-party vendor projects, driving project progress
•Managing online content, including developing, formatting and posting new web sections and maintaining a consistent look and feel throughout the site (more than 2 million annual unique visitors)
•Collaborate with other departments to implement new web tools, features and technologies to improve usability
•Create and execute strategies that enhance user experience, including content, design, optimization and navigation
•Perform SEO throughout the Foundation’s website
•Report and analyze web metrics to guide strategy and implementation of online projects

Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of online communication experience including expertise in managing a large organization’s website and website redesigns. He or she will have a bachelor’s degree in communications, digital marketing, or a related field. He or she will be organized and thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires regular problem solving and multitasking.

HTML, content management systems, Google Analytics required. Photoshop experience is preferred.

Outstanding writing, verbal and interpersonal skills. Must be analytical, detail-oriented, resourceful, adaptable, creative, forward-thinking, and have a positive attitude and strong work ethic, and be team players who is passionate about communicating via the web.
