Your tasks
The Crown Publishing Group seeks an Advertising Manager/Senior Advertising Manager to be responsible for developing and executing the advertising and promotional strategy for a diverse list of commercial titles within the Crown Publishing Group.

The Manager will:
?Conceive and coordinate advertising creative working with the publisher and the imprint teams, and spearhead the execution of those campaigns with title marketing directors.
?Negotiate media buys for titles based on strategy set for overall imprint group at a variety of print, digital, radio, and television outlets.
?Analyze and report on effectiveness of imprint team?s campaigns on a bi-weekly basis, offering conclusions and forward strategies.
?Meet regularly with publishing teams to review strategy and coordinate implementation of advertising plans.
?Supervise and coordinate activities of imprint group based design and shared web development staff; work with shared creative services associate manager; work with freelance staff as necessary
?Traffic completed creative components on schedule for approvals.
?Assist in creation of creative briefs with art directors to determining the direction of advertising and promotional campaigns; Work directly with imprint art directors to develop a cohesive campaign look and feel for titles.
?Monitor expenditures and work within budgetary restraints.




Our requirements
This position requires at least 3-5 years of advertising experience; advertising agency and/or publishing experience is beneficial.

The ideal candidate:
?Familiarity with web analytics and related reporting tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics, and email campaign reporting required.
?Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, Flash, and Action Script and/or HTML5 is helpful but not required.
?Candidates should be both creative and analytical with superb attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage many projects simultaneously, as this is a high-volume fast-paced, environment; Ability to exhibit strategic thinking and collaborative abilities, as well as excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
