We are seeking a Senior Experience Designer to join our Boston Experience Design team. Do you thrive on conceptual ideas but still geek out about the little big details? Do you think the right questions can be as valuable as the right answers? Do you like to design, prototype and collaborate with smart cross-discipline teams? Then come make stuff with us. At Mullen, "Experience Design" encompasses elements of UX strategy, user research, information architecture, and interaction design. We always advocate for the user in a world where ads can be products and your cell phone knows you better than your own mother. We contribute to the overall creative product and enhance and uphold the brand experience across all touch points. We work with challenger brands like JetBlue, Acura, US Cellular, and the National Geographic Channel, to name a few.On any given day, we might be working on customer journeys, ecosystem maps, site audits, user flows, wireframes, motion prototypes, or physical computing projects. We might be white boarding or doing odd looking things with sticky notes and string. We need a curious and insightful designer who can own a large project but isn't too good for the occasional small one. Someone who has had client-facing time and can clearly explain and rationalize design decisions. You're confident in your skills, but you also know you're never done learning. That last part actually makes you happy. You should be familiar with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Omnigraffle Pro, and have knowledge of or interest in various prototyping methodologies. Your annotations are tight. Responsive design experience a plus. Maybe you've always wanted to learn Arduino, but you've been putting it off.We maintain an abundant supply of Swedish fish.

Four-year degree required. Design, HCI, development, or communications background preferred.4-5+ years experience in an agency environment (advertising or digital-only) is extremely important, if not mandatory.
