The Traffic Manager serves as the main point of contact for internal Account Managers, Editors and Art Directors, while managing communication within both the Interactive and Print teams of McMurry/TMG. This role is responsible for scheduling and managing all Interactive and Print tickets (that are not within a project being managed by a Project Manager).

The Traffic Manager will also be responsible for supporting the Project Management team on larger projects, and will serve as the overall backup for client communication, if needed.  The Traffic Manager will be responsible for maintaining the overall accuracy of tickets and resources within AtTask, our project management system, as well as performing overall routine project and task maintenance within AtTask.

The right person will be highly organized, personable, have excellent listening and strong communication skills, exceptional judgment and strong initiative, and will help us deliver raving service for our clients by adhering to McMurry/TMG’s standards on trafficking.  ?If you are detail-oriented (seriously, detail-oriented), enjoy interacting with co-workers and clients, are assertive, have experience with interactive projects, excel in a fast-paced environment, and are excellent at communication and follow-through, then read on!

Reporting to the Manager of Project Services, this position involves the following day-to-day activities:

Job Requirements

• Ensure task requests are delivered on-time and within budget?
• Facilitate communication between task stakeholders and resources?
• Proactive communication around task statuses and follow-up?
• Data entry of all task requirements, such as financial records, duration, hours, and resources?
• Provide task leadership, work direction, and feedback for Interactive and Print resources?
• Manage resource workload and capacity to ensure tasks are being completed in a timely, but realistic manner?
• Ensure resources are effectively utilized for tasks and appropriately assigned?
• Verify that all work is completed correctly prior to delivering a finished product?
• Contribute to best practices and documentation for tools and processes?
• Facilitate training of new Interactive/Print employees on the use of AtTask, time entry, and folder structure?
• Assist the Project Managers on larger client projects when necessary?
• Oversee and manage schedules for monthly or quarterly client email and content updates?
• Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs and events

Required Skills for this Position:

• Exceptional communication and organization skills?
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills?
• Knowledge of basic HTML?
• Ability to manage multiple clients/projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment?
• A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in the technology industry ?
• Agency experience preferred?
• Familiarity with project management and/or ticketing software (Specific familiarity with AtTask a big plus)
