The Account Executive is the consummate, unfailing advocate for the business internally, keeping the team informed, focused, and enthused about the work. They are the builder of the client relationship, a champion of the brand, a facilitator within the agency, an eternal optimist, and an opportunist who helps grow the business by keeping the agency operations moving along.

The Account Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day deliverables of the account, while supporting the senior team members to ensure the tactical needs of the client are met. These responsibilities and expectations include:

-Developing an understanding and expertise of the client's business and strategic objectives, product offerings, competitive landscape, and core audience
-Building a deep understanding of the agency’s scope of work, expectations, on-going deliverables, and processes
-Establishing productive and collaborative working relationships within the core agency and client team
-Proactively monitoring owned brand channels, social properties and competition to provide in-depth insights and benchmarks to help optimize campaigns and inform creative development
-Leading weekly client status calls; developing, updating, and issuing status documents
-Providing precise, accurate, and timely call reports/meeting notes, as needed
-Participating in the development of monthly analytics reports with senior account and planning team
Account Executive Role & Responsibilities

The AE will have ownership and oversight of a broad range of projects and programs. In many cases, they will have complete autonomy over the development of social media creative and content from project briefing through to implementation. As the Agency Driver responsible for this content, excellence in project definition and oversight is a must, and requires that you are able to:

-COLLABORATE: ensure team’s awareness and consensus around project approach, creative scope, and timelines with relevant agency disciplines at appropriate times
-SET EXPECTATIONS: write accurate, simple program briefs by asking detailed questions of clients to gain clarity around program expectations, timing needs, and deliverables
-INTERACT: monitor the progress of each milestone; ensure the team is motivated and equipped to deliver and troubleshoot any situations which may impede progress
-MANAGE EXPECTATIONS: monitor, identify, and proactively communicate issues that result in any changes to project timing, scope, or strategy to managers and clients
-ACCOUNT-KEEPING: maintain ALL of the team’s shared content, creative assets, and library of products to ensure that the team has all the relevant, and up-to-date, materials

Candidates must be creative, quick thinking, responsible, detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and have a keen appetite for problem solving. You work hard, and your team is confident they can count on you. You thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment. More specifically, you have:

-A passion for advertising, digital and social media
-Intellectual curiosity, an eagerness to learn, and a dedication to advancing your career in account management
-Knowledge of the interactive planning process, creative development, production and tech
-2-3 years of experience in a client-facing, account management role in an agency environment
-A proficiency of the fundamental account management skills, including:
oCapacity to think independently, work both collaboratively and autonomously
oKnowing when to escalate potential problems
oStrong ability to prioritize, multi-task, scenario-plan and organize
oAbility to meet tight deadlines while keeping the team motivated, and without compromising the end-deliverable
oUnwavering attention to detail while reviewing creative, tracking revisions, providing feedback and writing internal or external communications including conference reports, emails and other correspondence
oExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal
oAbility to adequately represent client interests to the team, and agency interests back to the client
