Press Manager/Senior Account Executive needed for an open position at leading entertainment PR agency. Candidate to take part in and/or spearhead strategic and tactical PR initiatives in support of agency's television clients. The positions require between 4-6 years of hands on experience in entertainment public relations and applicants must have strong relationships with print, online and electronic media who cover the television industry. Extensive writing and creative thinking skills are required and candidates should be well versed in both trade and consumer-facing campaigns. In addition, knowledge of how emerging media platforms (with a focus on social media) can support agency clients in achieving their communications goals is preferred. Candidate must be a well-organized, pro-active self-starter who can work in a team driven environment. RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Work with senior management team to define, plan and execute television publicity campaigns that address both the mainstream consumer media as well as trade and media business outlets.2.Create press kit materials and related documents.3.Oversee distribution and placement of assets including photography and clips on a weekly basis.4.Develop and manage key promotional events including junkets, stunts and premieres.5.Work collaboratively with agency personnel and clients' in-house PR teams to manage relevant project goals.
