Department Description: Forbes BrandVoice is an integrated and by-invitation content-sharing platform that enables marketers to join the conversation with their own narrative and expertise. BrandVoice is an innovative approach to integrating marketer’ content with the Forbes’ editorial and users’ content – allowing marketers to demonstrate their thought leadership in the Forbes platform using the same tools as content creators.

High Level Job Description: Forbes Media seeks a Managing Editor for the BrandVoice content marketing platform. The position is within the Sales department's Digital Ad Products group.

Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities:
*Consult with all brand partners on editorial strategy and provide ongoing support and recommendations, from the top-line program level to individual pieces of content
*Working with content vendor, develop "beat" strategy for clients, guide freelance writers on generating story pitches and pitch in on story ideas when necessary
*Monitor and manage editorial quality and with brand content vendors
*Evaluate metrics to hone and advise on content strategy
*Recruit and manage additional brand content resources as needed
*Collaborate on video development and production
*Collaborate with the sales marketing team and vendors on BrandVoice program pitches
*Manage editorial vendor invoicing
*Recommend and execute program enhancements and improvements
*Monitor digital journalism and content marketing industry news and developments, incorporating insights into the program

Required Competencies/ Skills:
*10+ years of digital journalism experience
*Impeccable editing skills with a sharp eye for evaluating accuracy, substance, sourcing, writing, style quality and more
*Digital audience development expertise including content promotion, SEO, social media and more
*Ability to be articulate, thoughtful and persuasive as a consultant, working collaboratively and diplomatically with clients and agencies

Education Required/Preferred:
*Bachelors’ degree or equivalent.
