The Systems Operation Support team is in need of a support specialist. The right candidate is someone who clearly understands issues from an end-users perspective, uses sound judgment to quickly identify the root cause of various system related issues and can think outside of the box to provide long term solutions. Job requirements include excellent teamwork skills, providing support for all Publishing Systems service offerings, as well as participating in a rotating on-call schedule.

Job Function:
-Provide support to marketers and others who use companywide marketing tools
-Assist with the usage of the end-user tools
-Develop custom targets (subsets of email lists) using SQL Queries
-Provide support to marketers who create online order forms using a proprietary e-commerce system
-Troubleshoot HTML code
-Enhance functionality with JavaScript
-Maintain and develop SSIS packages to automate tasks and move data
-Maintain and develop ColdFusion templates to automate tasks and create end-user tools
-Work with a Support Ticketing System accurately track and document work
-Maintain effective communication with customers
-Escalate support tickets to appropriate team members or other teams
-Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (24/7 for one week at a time)
-Provide management with ideas to improve the online tools as familiarity with end-user problems increases
-Identify bugs
-Suggest new features/enhancements
-Participate in projects (system upgrades, acquisition of new publishers, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:
-Intermediate proficiency in writing SQL queries
-Intermediate proficiency in writing HTML
-Intermediate proficiency in writing JavaScript
-Fundamental awareness of SSIS packages
-Fundamental awareness of ColdFusion
-Available to participate in on-call schedule
-Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing the English language
-Experience in application support and troubleshooting
-Has a strong customer focus
-Able to work independently
-Able to manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
-Advanced proficiency in writing SQL queries
-Advanced proficiency in writing HTML
-Advanced proficiency in writing JavaScript
-Intermediate proficiency in SSIS packages
-Intermediate proficiency in ColdFusion
-Intermediate proficiency in any C-based programming languages
-Also fluent in speaking, reading, and writing French and/or Spanish.
