TV News Writer/Producer - Freelance
The Role:Bloomberg News seeks a freelance writer/producer for its TV affiliates network in New York. Individuals are responsible for writing, editing and producing reports for local stations around the U.S. Candidate must be able to make quick decisions in a real-time news environment and thrive under pressure. The position demands a strong understanding of what makes a business news story and the ability to customize reports for different geographical areas. A strong knowledge of business and financial themes combined with the ability to explain complex material in simple terms is essential. Familiarity with the Los Angeles market is a plus. Flexibility with hours is essential. Expected schedule: 10am - 6pm est.
