Advertising Sales Manager
The Ad Manager position will be responsible for the development, maintenance and growth of a domestic and international sales territory. The position requires the individual to be a self-starter. Knowledge of fishing and more specifically fly fishing will benefit this seasoned sales professional, the candidate must be able to articulate programs beyond simply selling ad pages. This could entail Internet, events and the general development of unique programs that will build both market share and revenue growth. Performance will be measured revenue growth and adherence to expense budgets. Responsibilities:•Prospect clients from a variety of internal, web and other media sources•In person weekly sales calls to both client and advertising agency to build relationships•Develop proposals to industry•Provide exceptional customer service•Move clients from introduction, through close and contract submission•Report to Publisher on a daily basis•Manage and prepare Travel Expense reportsQualifications:•A minimum of two years of media sales experience•A strong knowledge on Fishing and the ability demonstrate that knowledge of the territory.•Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook•Must be organized, motivated and detail oriented•Must enjoy travel and meeting one on one with executive level contacts•Must be a self-starter that is goal oriented and in particular, motivated by new business•Be articulate in both written and verbal communicationPlease include resume.
