Responsibilities would include:

* Direct Dayside Cable programming

* Continually evolve production by working with editorial staff to advance show and creatively utilize set

* Handle the operational aspects of the broadcasts

* Work with a team to assure that broadcasts consistently meet high ethical, technical and aesthetic standards

* Work collaboratively with editorial and technical staff to execute shows and meet the goals of the operation

* Direct and function as a team leader on ancillary projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree

* Minimum 5 years of experience directing live news broadcasts

* Experience working with state of the art broadcast technology Eligibility Requirements:

* Must be willing to work in New York

* Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation

* Must be 18 years or greater

* Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

* Must be available to evenings and weekends

* Thorough knowledge of studio operations

* Experience in planning and executing shows on remote location, technical planning, site surveys, and budgetary planning

* Strong journalistic skills, editorial judgment and strong knowledge of current events and newsmakers

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

* Proven ability to prioritize and make critical programming decisions under tight deadlines

* Effective leader, both in the control room and in the organization

* Creativity, enthusiasm, initiative
