Do you have a deep understanding of cross-platform e-com, not only because you buy everything online? Does the prospect of what may propel revenue through engagement, improved conversion rates, updated product mixes and managing margin performance excite you? Do you geek out on all things digital, keeping on top up of trends and working on high level strategy while executing tactical changes? DailyCandy is looking for a Director of e-Commerce to help manage our cross-platform, online business from inception to maturity. Our company aspires to produce work that is market leading. We don’t shy away from experimentation and encourage exploring the latest technologies. Your responsibilities include:

* Customer focused management of eCommerce platform including performance and functionality. This includes working with Edit on content, Finance on reporting and Marketing on promotions.

* Develop and maintain business KPIs -Manage daily, weekly and monthly reporting coming in from Finance -Work with Analytics and research to deliver customer insights -Recommend product mix and pricing. Work with Finance to keep on track and in line with budget forecast

* Identify growth/optimization opportunities; recommend new products or features that improve customer satisfaction, engagement and conversion.

* Create plans and strategies that align to the voice of the brand and content strategy.

* Build strong relationships with in-house tech team, partners and consultants to develop products/features on schedule and on budget.

* Manage and QA all funnels and “events” across desktop and mobile sites as well as mobile app.

* Measure performance in the following areas: -Engagement -Conversion -Revenue -Customer profitability

* Ensure all online activity is appropriately tagged for search performance.

* Able to understand and anticipate internal and external customer needs with the ability to think creatively and problem solve efficiently.

* Understands market trends, business drivers, and changing customer preferences.

* Work hand in hand with merchant team to drive launch and sales of new brands and products; partner with the product content management team to optimize customer experience to drive conversion.

* Management of content and social media integration onto shop.

* Degree in business management, E-Commerce retail or web marketing

* 3-5 years experience in digital retail

* 3-5 years experience managing e-com (mobile commerce a plus)

* Background in SEO or affiliate marketing a plus

* Excellent analytical and prioritization skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop recommendations

* Candidate will possess an entrepreneurial agility, customer insight and sufficient technical know-how

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Experience constructing and presenting professional presentations and marketing metrics review data to senior management. Eligibility Requirements:
