The Project Manager will specialize in the preparation, analysis, management and budgeting of technology related projects. This individual will be responsible for ensuring projects follow standard Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) methodologies guided by industry leading practices and as defined by the GTS PMO. The Project Manager must ensure that projects meet requirements and deadlines, manage within the budget and resource constraints, and ensure the needs of the business are met. This requires significant interaction with business staff and management at all levels including the Executive Level and other internal and external technical staff with a focus on successful deliverables for the business.

The project manager has the overall responsibility, accountability, and authority for managing the delivery of the projects/products according to the parameters and/or boundaries set in each Project Scope & Requirements document. The project manager is responsible for planning the project, managing the creation of the various phase deliverables, identifying and justifying the project resources, and for monitoring and reporting on the transition of the work product through all phases of the PMLC. The project manager is responsible for preparing the project budget and tracking all spend against that budget identifying and documenting all variances. Additionally, the project manager is responsible for status and status reports on the projects for delivery to the PMO and various lines of management.
Required Skills / Knowledge:

Experience and intimate knowledge of project management methodologies including planning, resource allocations, team management and costing.

Must be able to manage to multiple deadlines; multiple projects; have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to process model and data model as required by the projects. Be able to understand the business requirements and processes managing them to a successful, completed project and product.

Must be able to translate business or technical requirements into an organized approach to deliver the solution.

Experience Needed:

5+ Years managing complex technical and infrastructure projects.

Experience working in a Project Program Management Office

Educational Background Required:

BS or BA in computer science, business or related degree. PMI or PRINCE2 certification or Masters desirable.
