Amazon Local is seeking an Email Campaign Manager to drive the execution of all facets of content delivery including email, social networks, SMS and RSS.

The successful candidate will drive email subscriber engagement through email design, layout and content. She/he will help build emails that deliver relevant, timely deals and other content to our subscribers; work with our content, developer and platform teams to create daily emails for dozens of daily markets; and help define a unique Amazon Local style. He/she will be able to come up with creative ideas and dig into the details to drive results. Additionally, this person will help design systems to measure and improve our email performance and customer engagement across all our delivery channels, analyze metrics, course correct based on data and report on performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate and execute emails to engage Amazon Local subscribers daily
  • Design compelling emails with graphic and text elements that customers want to read
  • Analyze performance of content and email, always seeking ways to improve
  • Help build the Amazon Local email style, including coordinating content from internal and external sources
  • Analyze performance patterns and optimize for email variations, seasonality, relevance, and selection
  • Drive product improvements to completion by coordinating with project managers, web developers, buyers, designers, and other campaign managers
Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in building direct to consumer email campaigns
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Extensive experience working with MS Office applications
