Kellen Communications, a mid-sized, global public relations, public affairs and digital agency firm seeks a dynamic, proactive, creative, strategic, detail-oriented, marketing-savvy Account Supervisor to serve as a key member of its Atlanta account team.

BS/BA in a discipline related to Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising or Journalism, with a minimum of seven years of applicable experience. Applicants must have superb written and oral communication skills, experience managing staff and serving as the program/project lead with direct client contact. Successful track record conceiving and managing execution of global marketing programs is a must, as is experience with conference or tradeshow marketing. Applicants should be up-to-date on social media and multi-platform integrated marketing programs.

Candidates must have a passion for marketing communications, be self-motivated yet enjoy working in a collaborative environment; be detail oriented, exhibit sound judgment, exceptional organizational skills, consistent attention to detail and prioritization of deadlines. Candidates must demonstrate passion for engaging clients and learning about client industries and professions.

Reporting to the vice president, the account supervisor will develop and implement marketing communications programs for clients in the B2B and consumer sectors. Position includes serving as day-to-day client contact, program creation and management, including managing budgets and supervising staff.

The position requires some domestic and international travel which may involve multiple consecutive nights away from home and may include occasional weekend travel. Candidates must be willing to travel by air and be available to attend meetings and conferences in other cities/countries.

Marketing communications strategic program development and implementation including PR, branding, creative development, advertising, social media strategy and trade show and event marketing on a global level;
Account and client relationship management and account budget management;
Serve as day-to-day client contact, develop client reports and attend client meetings and events;
Write and/or edit press releases, bylined articles, op-eds, newsletters, brochures, marketing materials, web content;
Cultivate and manage relationships with clients and key third-party vendors;
Cultivate relationships with journalists and pitch media, manage media requests for clients;
Manage account teams, supervise and coach staff;
Develop, verify and maintain up-to-date media lists, client reports, and other materials, as needed;
Organize press events, including virtual events;
Proposal writing and research;
Attend client meetings and events, company functions and new business presentations.
