Sr. Vendor Manager, Kindle Publishing
The ideal candidate will be both a big-thinking strategist with a confident grasp of industry trends and an experienced analyst who enjoys using data to solve complex problems. You should have a track record in successfully leading C-level negotiations and in motivating internal teams (yours and others). You also should be able to operate in a very fast moving environment and enable your business to innovate and scale quickly while meeting/exceeding financial and content acquisition targets. It is important that you thrive in a highly demanding but collegial environment where teamwork is a must.
8+ years of relevant experience in media, digital content, or ecommerce
Willingness to work out of New York
Proven ability as a deal closer
Proven ability to build and maintain high-level vendor relationships with C-level contacts
Comfort with and demonstrated success in negotiating complex and high-value agreements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in magazine publishing
- Comfortable with a varied set of software and editing tools
- Proven track record writing customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to the internet shopper
- Familiarity with SQL
- MBA or related Masters preferre
