Main responsibility is to assist Segment Producer with varying projects, which include, but not limited to:



* Working directly with graphics department to create show graphics

* Gathering graphic elements

* Explaining edit instructions in detail on script

* Pitching story ideas (day-of, next day, futures)



* Must have at least 2 years experience writing.

* Must be proficient with Desktop editing.

* Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in live television including morning shows, cable shows, and broadcast TV.

* Must have a bachelors degree from an accredited college. Eligibility Requirements:

* Willingness to work overtime and on weekends with short notice.

* Must be willing to work in NYC.

* Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation.

* Ability to enterprise, research, and plan stories.

* Knowledge of current events, politics, pop culture, and history.

* Up to date on periodicals, including Op-Eds.
