The Nielsen Hospitality Group produces tradeshows geared towards the hospitality  community. The Sales Director will generate revenue in booth space, sponsorship and online, as well as manage a staff of 2 sales people. This position is responsible for presenting the sales plan, tracking overall performance and maintaining a sales territory. This position is a terrific opportunity for an outgoing, energetic individual who wants to experience the exciting world of tradeshow sales and marketing.
 
Major Responsibilities:
• Generate Booth, Online, and Sponsorship revenue.
• Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to Group Show Director.
• Assist with Tradeshow and Travel preparations.
• Maintain sales territory of established customer base while identifying new customers through prospecting and timely fulfillment of customer requests.
• Assist accounting with collections as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• B.A./B.S. degree
• Minimum 5 year sales experience
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
• Professional demeanor
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Telemarketing and phone sales experience a plus
• Computer literate: MS Office, CRM database experience
• Ability to travel 3 or 5 times per year
