Our client, a global luxury retailer, is looking to add an Advertising and Public Relations Assistant to their team in New York temporarily with the possibility to go permanent.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Oversee all national and co-op advertising activities and ensure advertising spending is within budget guidelines provided by management
Manage day-to-day relationship with designated Public Relations firm
Monitor editorial placements and brand advertisements monthly and report findings to administration and boutique staffs
Complete and file monthly Public Relations editorial placements as per guidelines
Coordinate with security to facilitate product photo shoots, celebrity dressing and/or events showing product
Interact with VP of Sales and commercial accounts on consistent basis
Review, approve and carry out local advertising plans for dealers
Review and approve brands’ placement in dealer’s catalogues
Prepare worksheets for dealer tags for national and local advertising
Review and approve invoices and process advertising claims
Create invoices for dealers for their media and/or production costs
Order and confirm placements and advertising material from production houses
Research un-authorized issues
Update and organize logos
Maintain company event schedule and attend events as needed to support PR initiatives

Job Requirements:
At least 2-3 years of work experience
College degree
Strong writing and communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
