Niche Media is looking for driven sales professionals to join a team of National Account Directors in our New York office. The primary duties for this position include the following:

•Prospect, secure and manage national luxury lifestyle advertising partners with an emphasis on developing new business
•Develop and execute strategic industry prospecting and creative selling techniques to drive new business into our magazines
•Manage and develop client relationships by providing exceptional client support and ensure high retention rates
•Assist in the development of programs which create new revenue streams for the magazine, or secure incremental sales from existing partners
•Represent the Niche Media brand at company, partner and other functions
•Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

•Minimum of 5 years experience in magazine publications, with a strong preference for luxury industry focus (experience within the luxury/European fashion, beauty and retail sectors is preferred) and a minimum of 3 years selling national accounts
•Proven track record of breaking new business
•Solid knowledge of the leading national sales clients with proven experience in fashion, beauty, real estate, financial markets, legal, hospitality, interior design, jewelry or retail industries
•Excellent presentation skills, high attention to detail and strong organizational skills
•Proven ability to effectively multi-task and work autonomously
•Computer skills with proficiency in PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word
•Proven ability to prospect and develop new business contacts while effectively managing and growing existing business
