The University Designer's primary purpose is to design print and digital communication vehicles for clients within the Seton Hall community. The designer develops designs for marketing materials from concept to completion following the requests of clients. The position requires working closely with print vendors in sending prepared files (including print specifications which indicate color, paper stock, size, delivery and other pertinent printing information). Proofing to maintain quality control is also necessary. Position also requires working closely with the web and digital communications team by providing files, working within set timeframes, and discussing upcoming collaboration opportunities. Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Graphic Design or Fine Arts.* 3-5 years work experience. * Superior design skills are necessary.* Must have knowledge of Mac OSX, Adobe CS6 (InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat and Bridge), QuarkXpress 8 and MS Office products. * Create web components that match/complement printed marketing materials.
