The Ad Sales Marketing department is responsible for supporting the ad sales team by developing cross-platform strategic ad sales partnership programs, launching industry-facing trade campaigns and planning/executing media events such as the network upfront - all with the intent to drive revenue for the Syfy network. This position will focus specifically on the development of multi-platform, digital, social as well as on-air ad sales partnership programs. This position will report to the Director of Digital Ad Sales Strategic Marketing.

Responsibilities
Syfy is seeking a Manager, Digital Ad Sales Marketing to work closely with the digital department Director to activate the team's digital and cross-platform strategic ad sales partnership strategy. The manager should have experience working across multiple platforms with an expertise in digital marketing and social media. Key responsibilities include:

Create unique and dynamic and innovative digital only and cross-platform marketing packages around Syfy programming, Syfy.com, Syfy social, events and brand campaigns
Develop high-impact marketing collateral that communicates Syfy's digital capabilities to the marketplace
Manage key ad sales accounts throughout the RFP process from development of client proposals to supporting ad sales on client pitches
Execute advertiser sponsorship programs by working closely with Syfy.com, internal and external production, creative, and programming teams
Evaluate digital marketplace trends and conduct competitive research to maintain premium offerings and educate the team on unique and innovative digital/social trends
Work closely with two fellow Managers, and will be supported by a department Coordinator.
Responsibilities will also translate to Syfy’s sister network, Chiller.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
At least 2-3 years experience at an agency, media company or sales organization
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Experience using Excel, Word and especially PowerPoint
Must have a general understanding of online and mobile ad terminology
Must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
