Job Description

National Journal seeks an Advertising Operations Manager to assist with digital advertising programs on its web, mobile and email properties. Responsibilities include trafficking ads, producing performance reports, managing inventory, coordinating with internal departments, and working directly with advertising clients.

Responsibilities Include:

•Partner with Ad Ops, Product, Technology and Sales teams to deliver best-in-class advertising programs and customer service to National Journal’s advertising clients.
•Schedule, implement, monitor, and optimize all digital advertising campaigns
•Liaise with clients to secure advertising creative assets and answer creative/technical questions
•Track inventory forecasts, campaign performance, and sell-thru performance.
•Communicate with internal teams and clients on performance of advertising campaigns.
•Propose and implement tactics to optimize performance of advertising campaigns.
•Supply Finance team with scheduled projection and delivery reports and end of the month reporting.
•Identify and propose new ad packages, sponsorships, and ad options to the Product, Sales, Technology, and Editorial teams
•Monitor and report on trends in the digital advertising industry.
•Partner with Product, Sales, Technology and Finance teams in supporting the ad serving, fulfillment and billing systems.

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:

•2-4 years’ experience in the digital media industry
•Familiarity with and/or strong interest in digital advertising
•Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
•Ability to work independently and with a team
•Extremely organized and detail-oriented
•Strong problem solving skills
•Strong project management and communication skills
•BA/BS required
