• Establish and analyze KPIs for marketing strategies across CNBC’s digital platforms • Develop standardized reporting that surfaces actionable marketing insights relating to campaign performance and consumer behavior • Leverage analytics tools to uncover new acquisition and retention opportunities for free and subscription products • Partner with CNBC Audience Development to manage forecasting models for traffic and other performance reporting that reconciles actual marketing channel performance against goals • Help shape web analytics platform code to assure data requirements needed to inform business decisions are met • Evangelize a data-driven culture, educating the digital organization on everyday use of data as a resource

• Subject matter expertise in web analytics, media measurement, and database analytics; minimum 2+ years hands-on experience with Omniture • Ability to take large amounts of data and analysis and synthesize it into meaningful reporting • Experience in the analysis of large data sets to find useful relationships (data mining) • Strong analytical skills with understanding of basic statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations • Motivated self-starter with proven track-record of cross-functional collaboration • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint • Excellent grammar and proofreading skills

• BA or BS in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science or other relevant high-tech related field • Web publishing or mobile product experience • Experience with the application of some or all of the following statistical methods and familiarity with running these analyses in a statistical platform: outlier determination, t-tests, linear regression modeling, time series analysis, ANOVA
