The Sovereign Society, a growing financial publishing company which provides unbiased, cutting edge financial research, is looking for an Assistant Managing Editor for a daily online newsletter. The best candidate must be able to write current, well-researched, financial articles that combine powerful, engaging, and persuasive writing with solid investment knowledge.You must be attentive to details and deadlines, have solid problem solving and interpersonal skills, and have a real interest in discovering opportunities in the investment world. Primary responsibilities will include:-Working with a team of financial editors to create opinionated editorial for a daily e-letter -Transform investment and editorial ideas into strong, written stand-alone content-Edit the articles to ensure editorial standards are met and hit regular daily deadlines-Participate in editorial and marketing brainstorming meetings -Manage the editorial calendar and act as link between editorial and marketing for all marketing campaignsExperience/Credentials:-Must be an avid reader and enjoy following world financial news. -Have an inquisitive mind and a solution-oriented personality.-2+ years working in the financial markets or related field; and 3+ years plus of writing experiencing-Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical -A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, journalism, or related field is required The Sovereign Society is located in downtown Delray Beach, Florida just a block off of trendy Atlantic Avenue and less than a mile from the beach.
