The Account Supervisor (AS) of the Travel & Hospitality Group will be responsible for strategy development, brand building with specific focus on new business, and senior level media relations. He/she will have responsibility for account profitability, division development, quality of account service and employee engagement. He/she will be responsible for managing overall account team performance as it relates to client service and quality control on multiple sizeable pieces of business.

Responsibilities:

AS responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

•Ideate, plan, develop and execute strategic media plans/programs, based on client needs
•Develop strategic partnership by cultivating relationships with top-tier consumers, businesses, and trade press
•Coordinate media tours and press events
•Draft press releases
•Secure press meetings for clients
•Develop and manage comprehensive media databases for clients
•Serve as a day-to-day contact for clients
•Identify and forge relationships with relevant strategic partners
•Oversee event development, management, and execution in line with client platforms
•Develop and manage budgets
•Assist with core message development for brand platforms
•Harness current client relationships for new business and seek out new potential clients
•Participate in new business proposals and presentations
•Manage the team
•Monitor and identify trends/hot topics in the wine / spirits industry on a daily basis and apply them to client needs and programming
•Identify and draft opportunities for clients

Qualifications:

•MUST HAVE Minimum 7 years’ experience in PR
•MUST HAVE Experience in Travel & Hospitality
•Experience successfully managing high profile/prestige/luxury travel and hospitality clients
•Must have strong top level media contacts (national and international) as well as senior level contacts in the travel industry (especially in the NYC hotels’ industry) and national broadcast
•Experience in senior level pitching, including feature pitching
•Impeccable writing and analytical abilities
•Excellent presentation, verbal, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
•Managerial experience
•Personable and outgoing style with a knack for proactive problem-solving
•Availability to travel and work occasional evening and/or weekend events when necessary
•Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as Marketing, PR, Communications, and Journalism


REQUIRED: Minimum 7 years' experience in media relations and experience in travel & hospitality PR
