•Drive All Member/Patient Acquisition using traditional and non-traditional online channels•Determine proper outreach channels to engage existing online communities that may be interested in our product. •Co-develop user tests and focus groups with product management team to determine what target market wants from our product and speak to them again and again over time.•Monitor online trends and developments in our target community to inform new features and marketing messages•Identify Best Performing Acquisition Channels/Campaigns/Copy through online campaign testing•Manage the marketing budget and work with management team to determine customer lifetime value•Ensure all non-digital content and digital content is in line with brand objectives and marketing plan (i.e. editing/copywriting for consistency).•Responsible for all marketing communications including web content, newsletters, collateral and press releases. •Provide strong leadership and management skills to grow and mentor digital marketing/member support team •Design, implement, and test integrated online and offline marketing strategies and campaigns.•Develop Marketing Activities Calendar/Plan taking into account community needs and product direction.•Drive the highest possible impact on the business through the evaluation and weekly refinement of team priorities and optimization of marketing activities.•Work hand-in-hand with our analytics resource, as well as our product manager to define and report on key success metrics tied to specific marketing campaigns to make data-driven changes/improvements to overall marketing activities.•Identify alternative, effective marketing partners to help drive patient membership growth.•Work in collaboration with operations, corporate marketing and technology teams, as well as consultants and vendors, in execution.Demonstrated grassroots and startup marketing a must. Prior experience in the consumer health content space a plus. Experience in iterative tech development associated with a consumer online brand a big plus. Other Requirements:•5+ years of applicable experience desired working in a brand marketing capacity with significant on-line knowledge/experience • Preference for experience with start-ups and/or the health & wellness industry. •Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently. •Strong understanding of current web and mobile standards and technologies•Strategic thinking to balance and prioritize short-term solutions with long-term vision•Excellent oral communication, written communication and analytical skills.•Detail –oriented. •Interest in engaging online communities and fostering positive online experiences around self- health empowerment.
