Routledge is seeking an Associate Marketing Manager to promote Military and Strategic Studies list globally. Candidates should have an affinity for working on a global team and be interested in working with academic markets internationally. The ideal candidate for this position will have marketing experience working in publishing.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Promoting our content to professional organizations (NGOs, diplomats, think tanks, UN agencies, government departments)
•Communicating about our books to specialist booksellers and resellers
•Maximizing opportunities to sell books to Military colleges
•Reciprocal marketing using blogs, current affairs sites, and social media
•Ensuring appropriate amazon and ems advertising for our product
•Promoting Military & Security Studies product globally
•Planning and budgeting
•Executing campaigns
•Acquiring customers
•Building market knowledge
•Working closely with a wider team on marketers on channel promotions.


Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years marketing experience in academic or professional publishing, as well as strong computer skills, including Word and Excel, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. And, a BA or equivalent educational experience.
