The Merchandising Manager will work closely with a cross-functional team, including business, analytics, product development, tech and design to define the long term vision, strategy and development of a new exciting eCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will have an eye for design, experience with web merchandising, and a passion for home goods. This position will be responsible for creating a curated gift registry catalog experience from multiple retailer product feeds to guide brides through the registry creation process.


- Develop the overall catalog taxonomy, define necessary tagging attributes, and catalog navigation/UI

- Set up workflow and processes to integrate with partners when building out the content management system

- Develop content that solidifies The Knot brand as a registry authority

- Continuously ideate and execute new and innovative ways to engage users via editorial content/merchandising

- Own product merchandising across the site, including the creation and management of an editorial/merchandising calendar

- Utilize data/analytics to drive decisions related to merchandising, user experience, and content management

Skills / Qualifications

- 3-5 years of web merchandising experience in consumer facing eCommerce company

- Strong knowledge of product merchandising taxonomy and associated best practices

- Experience with eCommerce platforms including third-party catalog integration, a plus

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

- Ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks and multi-task in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment

- Photoshop

- MFA degree preferred
