Regarding Art New England, knowledge of 'the art world' and two plus years of sales experience is a must. A vehicle is recommended; account executives travel frequently throughout New England. Regarding Playbill and Panorama, general knowledge of the performing arts as well as the Boston area is helpful yet not mandatory. Previous sales experience preferred. Extensive training is provided. Responsibilities include reaching sales goals; maintaining client and contract database in Excel; submitting weekly reports; attending regular sales meetings and training sessions; and representing the publications at frequent special events and openings throughout Boston and New England.
