Hearst Magazines is seeking a results-driven digital marketer to join its first-class Consumer Marketing Team. This is an exciting opportunity to assist in the strategy and execution of our e-Edition marketing. The position will report directly to the Director of Digital Marketing, collaborating with key stakeholders across the Magazine division to drive downloads and purchases across the entire portfolio of e-Editions. The e-Edition formats include Apple, Google Play, Barnes & Noble as well as Amazon. He/she will help manage and develop existing sources as well as develop new channels. Key areas of responsibility spans: promotion conception, design development, marketing plan creation, implementation, results analysis, as well as development of technical support systems. Last but not least, this person will play an integral role as Hearst continues to grow its direct sales channel for iPad and iPhone.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of digital marketing experience with strong proficiency in mobile marketing. In addition he/she should possess the following:

Proven track record of implementing impactful digital marketing campaigns

Knowledge of digital edition platforms; Apple, Google Play, Barnes & Noble and Amazon

Experience leveraging social media to drive product purchase

In-app marketing experience desired but not required

Proactive team player with strong communication skills and solutions oriented mindset

Ability to move quickly, managing multiple projects in a cutting edge, fast-paced environment

BA/BS from accredited college or university; Masters or MBA a plus
