The Jr. Account Executive will have duel responsibilities. Working for market leading brands, the primary role will focus on identifying, prospecting and closing new business within a set territory. The products sold will include but not be limited to: newsletters, ROS campaigns, email rentals, white papers, classifieds, directories and other lead generating vehicles. In addition, this person will partner closely with 4-5 senior Territory Managers to ensure that day to day processes are being covered, as well as territory revenue goals being achieved. This opportunity is intended for an individual demonstrating an aptitude, motivation, and desire to advance as a sales professional.

Responsibilities

•Meet or Exceed sales activity commitments with high quality input
•Compile and distribute client proposals
•Strategically target, qualify, contact, and close new business prospects
•Coordinate resolution of credits and billing issues with Finance
•Uncover current customer & new prospect marketing needs, develop, & present advertising programs
•Attend in market network and industry events and conferences regularly
•Utilize CRM data management (Salesforce.com)
•Research relationships with accounts
•Coordinate the team’s success through client facing activities:
•Prospecting and discovery calls
•Own & manage small client relationships, and larger clients as needed
•Negotiate sales opportunities

Basic Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree
•Minimum years’ experience: 2 years of digital business experience, Agency background a plus
•Solid skills with MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel
•Excellent customer communication and interpersonal skills
•Good judgment, able to handle confidential information in a professional sales environment
•Detail oriented, organized approach
•Customer focused, self-motivated, goal oriented, fast learner
•Ability to multi-task
•Team orientation
