Role/Purpose: Were searching for an innovative and aggressive Promotion Manager to lead and mentor our team of in-house producers and forward our groups creative development. This position will report directly to the VP of Creative Services and Programming. Functions/Responsibilities: You’ll work alongside the VP of Creative Services and Programming to advance our stations brand and overall news promotion strategic plan. Conceptualize, produce and edit eye-catching news image campaigns, as well as lead the development of proof-of-performance and topical spots. Responsibilities also include overseeing topical writing and production Working with our Community Service Coordinator on outside events and public service Filling in as topical producer as needed and occasionally serving as back up for promotion log scheduling Being deadline-oriented and able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment Oversee our multi-platform goals and assist in managing all cable, radio, and outdoor schedules

At NBC10, were a team-oriented group. Our success depends upon the belief in excellent, open communication with the VP and all team members. You’ll act as liaison between our stations News, Sales and Creative Services Departments. You’ll also work to create and strengthen relationships with our sister station promotion managers as well as with community partners and co-op partnerships. Job Requirements: Minimum five years experience in local television marketing and promotion Minimum five years management and leadership experience Bachelors Degree preferred Willingness to work long hours and on weekends with short notice Must be willing submit to a background investigation Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States Must be 18 years or older Must have a valid drivers license.
