1.) Work with partners and practice group leaders to identify trends, keep on top of upcoming transactions, litigation, regulatory changes, etc. for media outreach
2.) Prepare partners for media interviews
3.) Draft award submissions and surveys by interviewing attorneys and conducting online research
4.) Ability to juggle multiple projects, track and follow through on long range projects, change gears quickly
5.) Develop thought leadership media strategy for attorney’s needs that support business development efforts
6.) Aggressively pursue media opportunities, create and maintain reporter relationships, locally and nationally
7.) Place bylined articles
8.) Track editorial calendars
9.) Respond quickly to breaking news to obtain media placements for attorney sources
10.) Need to be independent worker and display sound judgment and professionalism
