We are looking for a Digital Strategist with 3+ years of experience to join our Creative Strategic Services group.

Job Responsibilities:

•Drive Social Media strategy, planning and ideation across brands
•Stay current with pop culture and trending topics relevant to consumers in traditional and social media to recommend opportunities and bring creative ideas to clients
•Stay up-to-date on new social and traditional media best practices and how other organizations and brands are using them
•Work closely with bloggers on partnerships, content campaigns and sponsorship activities
•Be able to pitch bloggers and digital media
•Identify and engage brand advocates within the social sphere
•Participate in content ideation for channels like Facebook, twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr
•Work closely with the account teams to be fully up-to-speed on products, initiatives, consumer research, key messages, overall marketing plans, media outreach, etc.
•Lead digital media relations and be able to come up with compelling pitch angles
•Help maintain agency social media accounts like Tumbler, Facebook and twitter

•Deep understanding of and passion for social media strategy, functionality, trends, dynamics, etc.
•Experience coming up with creative ideas and plans for brands and selling those ideas in to clients
•Experience creating and delivering persuasive presentations
•Experience contributing to and executing a dynamic digital and social media strategy on behalf of a consumer product brand (including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Pinterest, FourSquare, etc.)
•Experience or working knowledge of growing social media fan bases through tools and strategies, such as tagging, calls-to-action, promotions, linking, hashtags, trending topics, etc.
•Preferably has their own social media fan base and is active on their channels – well-respected in the space
•Very strong creative writing & editorial skills
•Organized, detail-orientated and able to lead internal and external partners
•An articulate leader, but works well as part of a team
•Years of experience: 3+ in social media marketing/strategy and PR; Beauty Experience preferred
•Involvement in consumer product goods and/or pop culture communities
