Primary responsibilities:
•Develop and maintain relationships with relevant reporters in business, broadcast and trade media
•Develop, pitch and place stories in business, broadcast, trade and consumer media
•Draft and edit written materials such as press releases, media pitches, talking points, etc.
•Develop, edit and adapt thought leadership materials, including bylines, research reports and white papers
•Play an active role in planning and strategy
•Manage day-to-day account activities, including agendas, client activity reports, and other administrative duties
•Supervise one or more associates
•Maintain clear and consistent communication between the client and RF|Binder

Skills required:
•Strong oral, editing and written communication skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Excellent organizational skills
•Business presentation skills, including their development
•Proficient in computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to:
oThink creatively and suggest ideas
oSupervise the work of junior staff
oHandle multiple tasks simultaneously
oPrioritize work under pressure
oAccomplish a task with concern for the areas involved
oWork within assigned budgets

•BA or BS degree
•2-4 years public relations agency experience working on corporate/financial accounts
