Marketing Program Manager, Townsquare Media

The Marketing Program Manager is responsible for the creation and development of Townsquare Media’s custom marketing programs across the company’s portfolio of music and entertainment websites and brands, both wholly-owned and partner, that together reach over 50 Million people.

As part of IGNITE, Townsquare Media’s Client Solutions Group, the Marketing Program Manager will work with the brands in the Townsquare Media portfolio to proactively create sellable marketing programs that include branded content, original video, social marketing and music / entertainment events.

The Marketing Program Manager is accountable for the creation and development of these marketing programs, building the sales materials for these programs, educating the organization on these programs, and working with sellers to take these programs to the advertising industry..

The role works closely with the TSM sales organization, and participates in client interaction as part of the pitch process, with the ultimate goal of securing partnerships.

The position requires creativity, knowledge of effective advertising programs and their value propositions, and an understanding of client needs in the digital space. Marketing and packaging experience is necessary.. The ability to manage multiple projects at once, and excellence in communication, are crucial as well.

The position is based in New York City. At least 3-5 years of experience in digital or integrated marketing is required.

Responsibilities include:
•Engage regularly with the brands in the TSM portfolio
•Thoroughly understand the value proposition, content, and marketing opportunities of each of the TSM portfolio brands, and represent and advocate them internally to the sales team and externally to clients
•Ideate and direct custom content, branded entertainment and experiential marketing programs for brand advertisers and agencies
•Lead brainstorming discussions with content creators
•Work with the brands in the TSM portfolio to properly execute all aspects of marketing campaigns including targeted media, branded content, video, events, and custom solutions
•Monitor campaign launches to ensure successful execution and troubleshoot with affiliates as necessary
•Field questions and needs from affiliates and coordinate with internal teams to resolve their issues around tracking, reporting, payments, and delivery of campaigns and marketing programs
•Maintain cross-functional relationships with Sales, Ad Operations, Marketing, Product Development and Content teams
•Participate in Sales process including direct interaction with agencies and advertisers
