Your duties and responsibilities:
•To promote, sell, and secure orders from all existing accounts and customers within the designated territory
•To grow and maintain relationship with current accounts
•To generate new business with prospective accounts and customers
•Preparation of sales reports for management and clients
•Trend forecasting

Your profile:
•A background in publishing, the arts, fashion or culture
•Experience in selling to national accounts
•Knowledge of the New York area
•Proven track record of meeting and exceeding expectations
•Outgoing, ambitious and flexible with excellent communication skills
•Ability to relate to many different types of people with confidence and ease
•Ability to work well within a team and independently
•Excellent computer skills especially with Microsoft Office
•Experience in working within a global company an asset
•Education: BA level or equivalent and/or relevant work experience
•A strong awareness of TASCHEN’s profile and publications and an engaged interest in our unique and highly successful program
•Valid driver’s license
