Job Description:
Digital Content Producers are responsible for every facet of the show’s online presence. Digital Content Producers for TheBlaze TV will work with writers and producers for primetime shows on TheBlaze TV, the Digital Operations department, and/or the Marketing and Promotions department to develop digital content for TheBlaze.com, TheBlaze TV, and social media. The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing skills and the ability to produce content that engages readers of TheBlaze.com. Digital Content Producers will work closely with both the show’s Executive Producer and the VP, Digital Editorial.

Responsibilities:
•Develop, produce, and write engaging content that carries users from online, to television to social media extensions to facilitate a 360 experience.
•Develop and manage show page/blog/social properties including generating all digital content for TheBlaze TV’s primetime programming
•Write daily articles and show recaps covering TV programming for TheBlaze.com
•Produce, edit, publish and share show clips on a daily basis
•Build awareness and promote tune-in of TV programming by building organic connections between digital and TV editorial.
•Pitch, write, and produce daily digital content relating to show focus, including teases
•Master elements of digital media production including Wordpress, content management system, Photoshop, image sources, video editing
•Work with internal & external partners to generate awareness of digital enterprises to drive show awareness

Requirements:
•Excellent writing skills.
•First class editorial judgment and understanding of domestic and international news events
•Practical experience working on websites and/or TV programs.
•Ability to communicate clearly
•Ability to multi-task
•Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast paced environment
•Ability to meet strict deadlines
